Red light cameras at four of the city’s intersections have caught thousands of drivers breaking the law each month. In September alone, the city of Denver’s traffic cameras busted 1,150 people running the red light at East Sixth Avenue and Lincoln Street.

Police said they have no problem with the products either. “Anything that makes you slow down and think about what you’re doing while you’re on the road — we have no problem with that,” said Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson.
